What is a Parish Plan?
A parish plan is a community led project that conducts a comprehensive survey. Based on this consultation the aspects which are most valued by the community are identified, as are areas of concern or wishes for improvement. This stage of the process concludes with the publication of the action plan which prioritises the key issues, proposes solutions, identifies potential partners, funding requirements and potential funders and proposes a time line for delivery of the actions.
How much funding can we get?
There are no specific grants on offer at the moment. This may change with the turn of the financial year
What sort of costs are we likely to incur?
You will almost certainly need to pay for hall hire for meetings and public events and the printing of leaflets, questionnaires and the action plan. Other costs will depend on how you go about consulting with your community. The final bill will vary considerably depending on the size of community and the choices made. We can supply a list of possible items and example costs from other groups on request.
