Since 1923, Action with Communities in Rural Kent has been supporting local village life across the county.
Over the last year, Rural Kent has helped communities by supporting, advising and improving awareness.

Our record of achievements would not be possible without the support, financial and otherwise, of our sponsors and funders - THANK YOU.
Board of Trustees
As a charity, Action with Communities in Rural Kent is ‘governed’ by a Board of Trustees, who are all volunteers. Normally elected at the AGM, the Board has collective responsibility for making sure the organisation is well-run and solvent. There are currently 9 Board members and they meet monthly. Various sub-committees focus on particular areas – there’s a Finance & Resources Group, a Quality Standards Working Group and a Marketing and Business Development Group. A Board member also takes part in the staff meetings. We are fortunate in having a very active and enthusiastic Board, who are committed to Action with Communities in Rural Kent and who have a wealth of community-based experience (as well as some key special skills).
If you are interested in becoming a Trustee, please contact info@ruralkent.org.uk
Our aim is to link individuals willing to provide some of their time to support some of our projects. Without the continued help from the generous and highly valued volunteers who are willing to give time to help others, the projects wouldn't operate.
We are always looking for reliable and trustworthy people to help us continue to provide invaluable services to the rural communities. If you are interested in contributing a few hours a week, please contact info@ruralkent.org.uk
